In Seagoville, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Texas, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Had such a wonderful experience at Oak Tree Nursery! The gentlemen was incredibly patient and helpful while guiding me through what would work best for my garden. Their selection was amazing, and the customer service was truly excellent from start to finish. I never felt rushed, and they made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. I already can’t wait to go back and pick up some butterfly bushes for my yard. Highly recommend checking them out!

OCD heaven haha everything was so nice to look at. The plants and flowers are pretty cheap in comparison to big stores, and you can tell they’re healthy. I was able to get some azaleas and some mini flowers and organic mulch. I took all of my kids who are 6 and under and they had so much fun looking around and playing with rocks. The guy was super nice and helped me load everything in!

So many plants and great prices. Unfortunately the prices aren't marked or most often info about what kind of plant it is. I use a plant identifier app. The prices are great on the plants though and they are all very healthy and all have thrived. I couldn't leave without these azaleas today! (Edit: years later update ..these beauties are still going strong in pots and bloom twice a year and never lose their leaves... my favorite most cold hardy plants!!)
